OTTUMWA-Clarice L. Rolison, 73, of 126 S. Cooper, died at 11:47 a.m. on August 7, 2014 at home.
She was born March 7, 1941 in Albia to William and Garnett Aubrey. She married Richard Lee “Dick” Rolison on June 3, 1960. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2014.
Clarice was a devoted wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. She was known as “Great-grandma Mama”. Clarice enjoyed sewing, reading, being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved her dogs, Country Music and Elvis.
Surviving are three daughters, Lori Woollums and Cathy (Keith) Skinner both of Ottumwa, and Lisa (Dan) Steele of Anchorage, AK; a son, Richard Wade (Keiko) Rolison of Honolulu, HI; 9 grandchildren, Travis, Joshua, Maria, Kegan, Kami, Seila, Christopher, Rachel, and Alicia; 3 great-grandsons, Eythan, Urijah, and Tre’von; two sisters, Louise Bricker of Kirkville and Linda Lowe of Eldorado, IL; one half-sister, Ruth Kale of Des Moines and a step-brother, Gary Stater.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Leonard Stater; four half-brothers, Dean, Bill, Raymond and Forrest Aubrey Sr.; two half-sisters, Florence Martin and Frances Kitterman.
Her body has been cremated.
Graveside services and inurnment will be 10 a.m. Monday at Shaul Cemetery with Norman Ward officiating.
